Santa Monica High School (Samohi) is one of three public high schools serving the students of the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District. Samohi has a department of Performing Arts as well as a separate Art department. Dance is taught in P.E. Classes. Arts and Communications are popular subjects also taught through the ROP (Regional Occupational Program) which offers students a chance to to explore artistic career paths.

The Performing Arts are popular classes at Samohi and there is something for everyone. With six different bands, six orchestras, six choral ensembles, plus theatre classes with multiple productions each year, they all have their own websites:

With contributions through our Education Foundation from parents, teachers, staff, PTAs, businesses and community, SMMUSD will provide Samohi with these Vision for Student Success programs and resources in the 2014-15 school year.
